Jack and his brother Andrew were born to Amanda and Brent Clayton. Brent, an accomplished divorce attorney, and his family live in the suburbs of Rhy'Din. Amanda went to law school as well but devoted her life to raising her two boys.
On the surface they look like a happy family. Stay at home mom with a well to do bread-winning father. Unfortunately, even for a divorce attorney, Brent was unable to see how unhappy his wife was. He forced his will on both the mother of his children and their two boys, more concerned with money and the appearance of a happy home than developing relationships and giving them the freedom to be who they wanted.
Jack was no exception. Forced to follow in his fathers footsteps and go to law school instead of being allowed to follow his dreams to be a photographer.
And what sucks for him is that he's.. good at it.
Jack is human in a place where where being just human is becoming rare.
He attends Delphine University, studying Law, and spends his free time taking photos and editing photos. His favorite thing to do is take his laptop to Angie's Diner, sit in "his" booth, drink cup after cup of coffee while he writes and edits.
He's not a people person and can come off as an asshole at first but once he makes a friend he can be silly and a good listener.
Jack is still figuring himself out, like most college students, but he knows what he values. Honesty, reality, artistry, deep conversations and an appreciation for the details that are often overlooked. When he looks through the lens, that's what he sees.
